Biography
Alexander Rey is a transpersonal psychologist, somatic therapist, and shamanic healer, and the founder of Discover Your Heart. Originally from Colombia and based between Cork, Ireland and Málaga, Spain, Alexander has spent over 15 years practicing and teaching in Ireland, drawing on a shamanic lineage rooted in indigenous traditions from the Putumayo region of Colombia and the highlands of Peru.
His work integrates somatic therapy, ceremonial facilitation, and plant medicine traditions with a background in transpersonal psychology, offering individual sessions and retreats to a bilingual (English/Spanish) community across Ireland and internationally. He is a certified practitioner in Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork, AromaTouch, Lomi Lomi Massage, Emotional LiberationTechnique, NLP, and Biodanza facilitation, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to healing that bridges ancestral wisdom and modern therapeutic practice.
